This website is a pure labor of love. Bodybuilding has done so much for me and helped me in more ways than I can count. I can honestly say I LOVE bodybuilding, eating healthy, and staying fit and active, and I want to share this love with you.
A little bit about me (and what qualifies me to help you).
I hate talking about myself, but in order to build some trust and show you that I’m the real deal, I’ll tell you a little bit about me.
My dad started me into fitness early. I still remember working out with him in the old basement when I was a kid.
I was also into lots of sports when I was younger, which kept me active and in shape.
BUT, I was always pretty tall and very skinny.
I was a 140 – 150 lb weakling in high school, and I really just dabbled in the weights.
I really got my start in the weight room (taking it seriously) at about 20 years old.
I enrolled at a local community college, and at this time I was a 6’1″ 155 lb skinny bastard (I’m truly an ectomorph with slight mesomorphic qualities).
I met a cool group of guys that were also into working out, and we got after it almost daily.
During this period I acquired what is called “newb gains”, and I quickly went from 155 lbs to 185 lbs (at around 12% body fat) in about a year and half.
During this period we were lifting heavy, doing big compound movements, and EATING BIG (you can get away with this when you’re young).
The story doesn’t end there, though.
During the next few years I yo-yoed up and down in muscle and fat mass (while falsely following the “bulking” and “cutting” mentality).
I went from 185 (solid but not “shredded”), down to 162 (I lost some muscle and was way too lean), and then up to 205 (skinny-fat, but pretty strong).
In 2016, I finally got right, ditched the extreme all or nothing mentality, and REALLY FOCUSED on bodybuilding and getting in shape. As of this writing (March 2018) I currently fluctuate between 176 – 178 lbs at 7 – 8% body fat and I’m healthier, leaner, stronger, and more muscular than I’ve ever been, and I continue to get better every day.
Enough of the rambling, though. How does all of this help you, my dear reader?
- I’ve made every stupid mistake in the book, and learned from each and every one of them.
- I’ve put in more hours in the gym than pretty much anything else, so I have tons of knowledge and wisdom to share with you.
- I know what works, and I know what’s bullsh*t. I’ve tried just about every different exercise, machine, workout, food, and supplement there is to get an edge naturally.
- Natural bodybuilding, fitness, health, and nutrition has been my focused area of study for the last 9+ years, and it will be FOREVER.
Why have I never taken steroids?
I believe that we already have the tools we need to build amazing physiques without the drugs.
Are we going to take the Olympia crown anytime soon? Hell no.
But I think the natural look is better, and it’s infinitely healthier, so we trade some size for health.
And remember: HEALTH IS #1!
I’m just not willing to roll the dice with drugs, and that’s a choice I made.
“But a lot of bodybuilders who take (and took) drugs are still walking around fine!”
Good for them, and I wish them well. I don’t have anything against steroids at all. To each his own. The problem is that we just don’t know how they feel in their day to day lives. Sure, they’re alive, but are they thriving? I don’t know about you, but I want to THRIVE until they put me under!
So it boils down to this: if you want to experiment with steroids (or you’re already doing them), I’m not your guy and this isn’t your site.
BUT if you want to walk the natural path, I’m here to provide you with what you need to THRIVE and build an amazing physique NATURALLY.

Now, when I say BODY BUILDING, of course I mean lifting weights, doing cardio, eating clean, and getting proper rest to build muscle and minimize body fat.
But BODYBUILDING to me also means building your life!
I know that once you get into the lifestyle, you’ll start to see sweeping changes in all other aspects of your life, not just your muscles!
